Where you provide another person’s personal information, you should be authorised to provide that information where required.
A parent or guardian may provide information reasonably necessary for the care of their baby or child.

We do not ordinarily record consultations.
You may withdraw a consent you have provided by contacting us. Withdrawing consent will not affect information handling that occurred before the withdrawal and may limit our ability to provide ongoing services.

the practitioner providing your consultation;
authorised employees and contractors assisting Postpartum;
website hosting, booking, payment, telehealth, email, cloud storage and IT providers;
accountants, lawyers, insurers and other professional advisers;
another health professional with your consent;
emergency services or health professionals where necessary to respond to a serious threat to health or safety;
government agencies, regulators, courts or law-enforcement bodies where required or authorised by law; or
a purchaser or successor if the business is restructured or transferred, subject to appropriate confidentiality and privacy arrangements.
Service providers are only given the information reasonably required to perform their services.
We do not sell or rent personal or health information.
8. Overseas storage and processing
Some technology providers used by Postpartum may store, process or allow access to personal information outside Australia.

Purchasing a product, submitting an enquiry or booking a consultation does not automatically require you to subscribe to marketing.
Marketing communications will identify Postpartum and include a way to unsubscribe.

Unsubscribing from marketing will not prevent us from sending necessary transactional or service communications, including:

Health records created by Postpartum will generally be retained in accordance with NSW requirements.
This means that we generally retain:
health information about an adult for at least seven years after the last occasion on which we provided a health service to that person; and
health information collected about a person while they were under 18 until that person turns 25.
Information may be retained for longer where required by law, professional standards, insurance arrangements or an actual or anticipated legal claim.
When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to securely destroy or de-identify it, subject to applicable record-retention requirements.
13. Accessing or correcting your information
You may ask to access personal or health information we hold about you.
You may also ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, irrelevant or misleading.
To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before providing access or making a correction.
We will respond within a reasonable period.
